Following the trend that has been evident this spring and similar to the previous sale at the same venue  the Limousin breed continued to trade well in the Kilkenny Agricutural Society sale with an average price of €2500 and 100% clearance.

Topping the trade at €3500 and indeed the top price of the entire sale was Trevor Masterson, Galbally, Enniscorthy Co Wexford with Galbally Eirwin . By the UK sire Wilodge Tonka and a home bred dam Galbally V 290 by the French sire Ferry, Eirwan was purchased by  Mr Denis Fitzpatrick, Rosenallis, Co Laois.

Selling at €3350 was Cornagher Fling from Pat Beirne Kilcock, Co Kildare , this Tartar B son and by Cornagher Bethel, a Lino daughter, sold to Mr William Treacy, Portlaoise.

By a homebred dam with breeding back to Moloskey Vince and Ballinahinch Ursula, Frank heads to Mr Harry Condell, Clogrennan Co Carlow.
