Limousin bulls put in another strong performance at the April 2012 Show and Sale of pedigree bulls hosted by Kilkenny Agricultural Society in Cillin Hill, Kilkenny. 19 out of 20 bulls presented for sale were sold, at an average price of €3286.85, which was the best average across all the breeds, and only marginally down on the March sale which had an average of €3,491. This performance copper fastens Kilkenny Bull Sales as a very useful outlet for Limousin breeders for their bulls, and demonstrates the confidence of the buyers in the venue. The pre-sale show was kindly judged by Mr John O’Grady.
