Competition confined to 12-25 year olds with two sections 12-16 and 16-25.
Entrants will judge two groups of cattle, explain their reasoning to the master judge. They will also be marked on their ability to exhibit an animal in the ring (animals will be available for showing on the day).
The top two entrants will be on the Irish panel travelling to Carlisle in October to compete against Northern Ireland and England in a young handler’s competition.
Entries to James Wycherley YMA coordinator or Michael Gunn Elphin Show/NW Limousin, or accepted up to 10.30 on day of show.
All competitors must be members of the Limousin YMA but can join on the day.
