The upcoming Premier Bull sale to be held in Roscrea mart on Monday 10th March 2014 is the first Society sale of the year. A total of 61 different sires are represented in a catalogue entry of 145 bulls, these bulls range in age from 23 months to 12 months. As is customary at all Irish Limousin Cattle Society sales all these young bulls are export tested for TB and they have been tested for BVD while their dams have been tested for Johnes disease. Pre-sale inspections take place prior to all society sales.
The pre-sale show will commence at 9.30 am, with the sale commencing at 12.30 pm. The ILCS runs a Finance Scheme to facilitate customers who may wish to pay for a bull over a 3-year period – details of this scheme are available from the Office at 025-85036. Irrespective of your farming type or budget we have no doubt that there is a bull at this sale to suit you.
There are bulls in this catalogue to enhance any herd. Limousin cattle are consistently commanding good returns in all markets. Limousin is without dispute the number one Beef Bred.
